Really, Government... REALLY?

I can't help but be REALLY frustrated with all of this. Our politicians come across as a bunch of whiny toddlers in need of a nap.

  1. You hit the nail on the head. Suprisingly they continue to get paid and vote for their own raises while not raising the minimum wage in this country. Vote them out and try again

    1. Exactly... I heard the Governor of our state (Michigan) saying this morning that they're doing this shut down thing backwards, and that THEY need to be the first to stop getting paid... but yeah, fat chance of that.

  5. That's why I say low-to-middle-income mothers should be put in charge. You know how balanced that national checkbook would be? Or how many politicians would get a strong smart slap across the face for the bullcrap they pull? MOMS FOR PREZ, 2016!

    1. Plus there'd be mandatory nap time. Yes... I think you're on to something here....

  6. It's quite fascinating watching it from a distance. I hope you are not too affected by it all.

    1. I can only imagine what the International community thinks of all of this... considering how disgusted I am with it. I would want to be watching from a distance too.

I personally haven't been affected yet... I don't work for the Government. I work for an International Corporation... so I suspect we'll be fine... but a good portion of my family works for the Government, or gets pensions from them... so I'm holding my breath.

  7. I hear ya... listening to them and how they're "keeping our best interest at heart" when they're trying to do things like take away affordable care, or shut down the government and put people out of work... riiiiight.
The whole health care thing would have been so much better off if they'd 1) Informed us about just what exactly it is and 2) NOT called it Obamacare... there's a reason that Obamacare has... a 50-something % disapproval rating while the Affordable Care Act only has a 30-something % (they're the same friggin thing... which is proof that a name is everything).
