Repaint: Color Infusion Camira Domina

Yeah...
I had fallen in love with the sculpt when I saw my friend's Color Infusion C
gal from the 2012 Integrity Toys convention...

so I sought out my own Color Infusion C,
now named Camira Domina (by Integrity, not by me),
from the 2013 Integrity Toys convention...

Uhm, she looka' like a prostitute 0_0

Talk about hideous under-eye makeup ;_;

Still, I wanted the mold, so I got her,
and repainted her.

Below is just a quick "Before and After"
Better pics to come:

Left: Before, Right: After

I love her hair color and don't want to change it,
so I tried to give her a more natural look that worked with it.

Another guest at Spa Leo!

Leo: Today we have a first time customer!

Ms. Back to Black Natalia!
What a beautiful lady!
She needed a touch-up on some
already altered irises.
I was asked to lower them,
and make them a bit more
like the original (factory paint) in color.

Con Report from Veronique

Veronique: So... I have no idea why Heather brought me to
this thing called "Gencon".
As a perfume designer, the entire place...
except for the food truck area,
was offensive to my sense of smell.

The food truck food was amazing though...

Food Truck food was not the only thing consumed...

We looked at many wonderfully painted figures.
(Although they were all so strange... what does one use them for?)

We also played an awesome game called Firefly...
but then were totally bummed to find out it was all sold out. :(

In conclusion though,
this place is full of nerds.

Next year, Heather should take someone else who might appreciate that.
As for me... I have to go detox my nose.

Dog Crazy

Nikki: *yaaaawn* Good Morning, adoring masses!
This morning I have quite the treat for you!

Nikki: COFFEE!

Nikki: Haha! Just kidding, sort of, it's not just coffee, it's a veritable triumvirate of AWESOME: Coffee, Puppies and FASHION!
Me being part of the equation, and being full of awesome is just a given.

Nikki:  Aspiring writers need to eat, so when I'm not writing, I walk dogs for
people with too much money and not enough time.
Of course, it's a necessity that I look fashionable while doing it.
These people wouldn't want their dog seen with just anyone.
That's where today's awesome wardrobe comes in!

Nikki: Toki Doki is totally in, and thanks to TinyLiving on etsy,
we Barbie girls can ride this fashion train!
She makes skirts, shirts, dresses and purses in Toki Doki print!
This skirt is totally adorable (Uh, machine gun... yes please! If that's not a warning,
I don't know what is!) although admittedly, it fits best on a Model Muse body,
my rear is a bit... ah... full for the skirt.
It still fits, but it's a much tighter fit.

Nikki:  And do you like the charm on my necklace? That's by Vuduberi, also of etsy fame.
It's double sided and totally high quality.
The one I'm wearing is called Ketchup, but there are 12 different styles.

Nikki: The bag is absolutely a-friggin-dorable. It's double sided (Toki Doki goodness on each side)!
It comes with a super cute, colorful charm too!
The only thing I did to it was tie on a new strap. The original strap was a bit short to stay
on my shoulder and hold my notebooks, and since this is such a large bag,
I'm using it more like a backpack rather than a purse.

Nikki:  This bag is the perfect size to hold all my story noteboo... GAH!
STOP THAT, Izzy!!!

*All the dogs begin to whimper*

Nikki: Oh! Sorry guys! It's time to go find some grass!! There is business to take care of!
*With that, Nikki and the pups rush off, carrying on with the business of the day*

This post wasn't possible without the super cute fashions of TinyLiving.
Please stop by her etsy shop HERE and check it out :)

Want my look?
Get the Dress: HERE
Get the Shoes: HERE
Get the Dogs: HERE, HERE & HERE

Mind you, these aren't always the best prices for these items
(I'm surely not paying $80 for a dress! If you stay vigilant though,
it'll pop up for lower prices) ... mostly, this is just to help you know
what the item is called, what set it's from, what era... all that good stuff!

Just in case the auctions are over when you click on the links, here are the names of each item:
Dress: Fashion Fever Teresa-Polka Dot Dress-2004-H0873

Dog on left: Barbie Glam 'N Groom Set W/ Lacey Dog Style 'N Groom their matching hair 1999

Neck More or Necklace?

Christie: Omg I crack myself up with that title... but seriously.
A friend of mine makes our size necklaces...
but has no idea what to charge for them.

What do you think a fair value would be for these?
What if they came with earrings?

Christie: Each necklace has a handmade clasp in the back, so you don't have to remove heads XD

Nikki: I should be a model...

Christie: Does that mean you'd move far away to NYC?!

Nikki: You wish. I'm here for-eeeeev-er.

Christie: Damn.

Niki: A valiant try sis, but there's no escaping.

Christie: *sigh* Please tell me what you think on pricing these guys :)

Rainy Day Outing

I don't know about where you guys are...
but around here it's been raining like crazy!
Lot's of thunder and lightening too!!

So, anyways, I've never been out in the rain before, so as you can imagine,
I'm really excited to try out my brand new rain gear!

Isn't this shirt too cute?
And the skirt has an elastic band,
instead of a button of velcro,
which has some of the other dolls around here very excited.
I hope I'm not forgetting anything before heading out *rushes around*...
it seems to have taken a little break from raining!

Here's the whole ensemble...
Pretty cute, huh?
Here's a boot closeup!

This umbrella is cute, but totally useless...
it doesn't even open. -_-

If you're interested you can get this ensemble HERE.
Although honestly, I bought it at my local Target store for half the price
when you consider shipping.

Everything is really wet out here... but it's not raining at the moment...
maybe we should go explore?
*hops down off the porch to go look around*

Wha... WHAAAAAA???? THE RAIN!!! IT'S HERE!
Help me, help me, help meeeeeee!
*Christie is quickly soaked by the sudden downpour*

OMG, it's cold, and wet, and miserable...
why doesn't this crappy coat button up?!
WHY DOESN'T THIS UMBRELLA OPEN?!

*after being rescued from the rain*
Ohmigod... can you see this? I'm soaked!!
The only things that are dry
are my butt and my feet!
AND I'M FREEZING!!!
Can we go inside now?

On a positive note, this whole outfit stood up very well to being absolutely soaked through.

Bonus shot:

I can't always be graceful ;_;

Getting Ready to Travel

Hi everyone!

Today has already been such a busy day!
Heather is getting ready to head home to her parents house for Easter,
and of course I'm tagging along... so I decided
to also help out in all the errands she had to run this morning
to get ready to go!

What I wore:

Isn't my little bag cute?!
The design on my bag was created by

So anyways... here's what we did today!
First up, the coffee shop. I am a girl who needs her coffee in the morning!

Give me a tall Chai latte, please!

Next up, we rushed out to Sweetilicious to snag some pies before they sold out!
Everyone wants a Sweetilicious pie for Easter!

See that empty spot on the shelf behind me... that's where the Chocolate Creme Pie I got
HAD been sitting, hehe! Pics of the Pies later, I promise :)

Next we had to run to Target for kitty litter (can't leave Macaron with no kitty litter for a weekend!)
While we were there though, I did a little clothes shopping ;)
I mean, come on... there was a sale!!!

At Target right now, they have these really cute little frames...
this one is going in my house!
There were about 4 different styles and colors :)

Then we had to put some gas in the car for the long trip.
It's never good to get stuck somewhere with no gas!

Finally, I helped "hide" Easter Eggs in the park across from our house.
It was so cute to watch the kids run and pick them all up!!

Soon we'll be hitting the road, driving across the state!
I love to travel :)
More pics to come!!
