It's a new month, therefore, time for a new ADVENTURE!!!!

Last month marked 6 straight months of Adventuring, and I know some of  you have been steady adventurers that whole time! That means a prize!!

I'm working on a chart that will help me keep track of it all!
But there will be a post about it this month!

September Theme:

Water

Scuba dive in the bathtub,

"What is it?" you ask?

The Adventurer's Club is a monthly photo challenge.

The "theme" for the month is vague enough that you can complete the task indoors if you're not a "drag your dolly out in public" kinda person.

ALL DOLL TYPES ARE WELCOME!

On the FIRST DAY of every month, I will reveal that month's theme.

There will be participation prizes...
these will be given out on a "number of months participated" basis.
There will be a 6 month and 12 month participation prize.

The months will be cumulative, because I know life happens and sometimes we might miss a month.
Although I'm thinking I might have to make an extra special prize for anyone who participates for 12 months straight!

*NOTE*
January is a "wild card"... since I put this one up so late, you can complete this one at any time throughout the year. If you would like to participate in the January Adventure, please do!

Don't feel like you have to have a masterpiece photograph either,

snap the shot with your cell phone, a point and shoot or a pro camera,

it doesn't matter, just as long as the resulting image is theme related!

2. Share that photo with me (via email, posting a comment with a link, etc), on our Flickr Group:

Your Own Backyard

Sometimes an adventure awaits you in your own backyard!
You never know what you might find,

going out of your own back door!

Or maybe your "backyard" is somewhere in the house?

Or maybe you consider your backyard somewhere else all together?

Wherever, or whatever your backyard is,

this month is the month to have an adventure in it!

Adventurer's Club Update!

Hello everyone!!

There is now an Adventurer's Club Blog to post your images to!

I have been trying to figure out a better way to organize the images... since I felt the tab page here would get *really* long, and unruly, really fast...

So with this blog, it will automatically organize it by Month and Year (which you can find in the right hand side bar).

Now... I am testing out my ability to invite you guys as "authors" to the blog... that would allow you to just post your own adventures directly!

But you have to have a blogger registered email address, otherwise I can't invite you...

and I know not everyone wants to do that,

so I'll still take email and flickr entries, and add those myself.

Sooooo... anyone with a blogger blog who wants to have author access... just message me with your blogger linked email addy and I'll add you!

I'm hoping this will make things easier for folks!

Are there beasts lurking around that aren't native to the area?

Maybe it's a zebra mussel, or maybe it's a unicorn.... who knows!

Show us what sort of exotic wild animals are lurking around!

(NOTE: This is EXOTIC animals... there will be a month theme later on for "local wildlife"... so the animals you share this time around should not be native to your homeland!)

 I am currently in the middle of reworking how I share the images... to hopefully make it a little cleaner and easy to view (I'm not a fan of adding them all to the page, as it makes the one page very long)... so I'm reworking it a bit. :)
